Nice read this morning. Sounds like Housley is going to let Bogo use his skating ability to drive the play up the ice. This might be one of Bogo's best years stats wise. Hopefully under a more fast paced system that Housley will imploy Bogo can be a decent 2nd line pairing dman.

Pach, hope your brother did well in the storm. I currently am out of power but no damage to the house and doesn't seem to be any flooding on the roads.

IF Bogo can stay healthy, i am looking for a bit of a rebound year from him this year. As Pach points out, the big man can skate and shoot the puck. Besides the injuries, it seems to be what's between the ears that's holding him back. Let's hope Housely is a good teacher and let's him play to his best capability.

I think he can have a productive season, but history suggests that he won't play more than 60 games which is the bigger problem imo

I agree. The problem with the injuries is he takes FOREVER to get back up to game speed when he misses time.

I still can't believe Winnepeg gave him the contract deal. I didn't look at the history, maybe he wasn't that injured at that point.

So I got to watch all of the Bills game before the damn hurricane came through. All good on my front just a few trees and fences down.

Tyrod did what everyone wanted him to do last year...go through his reads, use the middle of the field and throw to his TE. Now people are pissed he didn't use his WRs? Heaven forbid he isn't comfortable with a guy he's had one practice with, a guy signed to be the 3 and a rookie WR. It's not like his number one WR was traded halfway through training camp...

The jets D isn't awful, they don't have good LBs and that's who they picked apart. But again because people want to tear apart someone it's Tyrod because he didn't use the WRs much. Not like he's in an offense where they utilize the TE...oh wait he is in that exact offense.

Bogo is a more offensive defenseman so assuming Houlsey lets him play that way I have hopes he becomes useful. His issue is he can't stay healthy.

Here's hoping he has 25 points and isn't a msss in his own zone and is traded at the deadline for something decent.

I said this exact same thing yesterday to my friends I was watching the game with. He did ALL the things people wanted him to do last year.

He also looked more comfortable in the pocket and didn't just look to run first. Hell, I'd actually say there were times I wish he had been more decisive and just run to begin with.

Overall, he managed the game. I'm good with that. If that's me settling for mediocrity, well, then so be it.

A colleague of mine that works in Ft Lauderdale was in Colombia visiting his mom last week. He's now stuck there until next Monday.

He should have finished with 3TDs 0 Picks if that one didn't go through Clays hands. If anything I'd be picking apart the right side of the o line. Shady couldn't get much going that way.

That and a missed FG and they win by 19 instead of 9. But it's Tyrods fault.

Joe Buscaglia had that as an item in his 7 observations post game. Said it's a problem and they need to address it because teams are for sure going to figure it out and expoit it.

His point was basically that now when teams watch film from this year they'll see that it's a weakness and that it'll only get worse as the season goes on.

Considering that there were quite a few sloppy games in general, the missed opportunities we had seemed kind of par for the course across the league yesterday.

The horror stories on the road scared my wife plus with it moving more west we thought it would be okay. Then of course she came back west. All good on our front. How about you?

We faired quite well. Just a lot of lawn clean up. Pool as well. But that is done already. It was a loud night. A bit tense here and there. But I think Orlando did pretty well overall.

Week one I mean the Steelers only beat the Browns by 3.

All in all the amount of yards the Bills gained was a good thing, just need to finish their drives off with points. Next week should be a good test. I'm just happy football is back because that means hockey is coming soon.

I was just talking to a colleague in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She said things there aren't that bad considering what they expected. But many areas are without water and they don't have power. She's at the office which has a generator.

The way that some people were being critical of Taylor you'd think he'd have had a game like Andy Dalton did yesterday.
